had to share how we fooled Zoe for 4-1

this was too good, so of course I had to do it...called Zo over and said I got a letter fro Mr. Rincon...said I did not open it cause it was addressed to her mom...got her going really good, by asking what could she have done to warraant a letter from her teacher...she was worried, said well there was that one day that another little girl was talking and the teacher thought it was her, and he said... that one more time and Zoe would have to move (& "grandma that was the first time a teacher ever had to say that to me.") so Sam came over and I handed this letter to Sam and she read it out loud, adding, "well I guess in 2 weeks you will going to space camp with your class aboard a space ship...& I will have to get you dad's permission...
result? she started crying (real tears & all) saying, "oh pls mom don't make me go, I am really scared, what if (such and such) happens? and me, I was trying so hard not to laugh...this was just too good...
