Easter was pretty good...Brant took Zoe for the morning to church...
cooked pretty much all morning...Tim and Zoe had several egg hunts...
for dinner made:
ham
my special cheddar potatoes
green beans with almonds
applesauce bread
Sam brought:
deviled eggs
veggies
strawberry shortcake
didn't see the little ones today, but will see them this coming week...
cheddar potatoes
I use (10 cans) of whole potatoes
sour cream
cheddar cheese
seasonings
shred potatoes, mix in enough sour cream to coat...add cheddar cheese to taste (more or less depending on cheesy you want them...)
add seasonings and top with cheese, bake at 400 for approx. 45 minutes...
so good, everywhere that I take this dish to, everyone loves it...
applesauce bread, Greg's absolute favorite
16 oz of applesauce
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
3 tbs milk
mix all together
add 1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cups of flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
cinnamon
nuts
bake 350 for approx 60 minutes...makes 2 loaves...
